I love the crust of Brown Rice. So good.
1 cup long grain rice 
2 Tablespoons margarine
2-3 shakes dried onion (more if wanted)
2 cups water
2 stock cubes or 2 teaspoon granulated buillion
Put two cubes of buillion and the water in a microwavable dish, and heat until water is just starting to boil. Make sure the cubes dissolve fully.
Heat glass dish with margarine and dried onion until it is browned. Stir in rice until coated, then add water mixture. Bake at 350?F for 45 minutes.
 Surprisingly enough, Jasmine rice works pretty well.
