For a girl who wasn't allowed to touch anything hot or sharp until she was legal to purchase alcohol, I've amassed quite a few recipes. Most of these are either appetizers or main dishes, since I head more towards meze or tapas than towards side dishes. Most of the main dishes are one-dish wonders, since I'm also lazy and tend not to enjoy washing dishes.

I also tend to work off my newest cookbooks -- which are, right now, Southeast Asian -- or learn one culinary tradition at a time. So the newest recipes tend to be in the same category.
